Amongst the chaos of the building work taking place in my house, I have managed to create a few cards. So thought it was about time I uploaded them.

Above are a few quick birthday cards made for Amy & Tom's nursery school friends.

Below is my Father-in-laws birthday card as well as my Parents Wedding Anniversary card.

ATC Swap June 2008

Sorry they are late girls been really busy recently. I hope you like the swaps you receive. They were all wonderful as ever!

I will not be doing the swap at the end of July as my house is in chaos at the moment (my husband just started an extension on our house). I will send an email at the end of July and let you know about the August swap.

I'm having trouble finding the time to make cards at the moment, as so much is going on and all the family seems to have been ill over the past few weeks. So I only seem to be making them when I'm in desperate need of them.

Here is the wedding card I made for my brother and his wife wedding last weekend.

The stamp used is the Penny Black - All White which I love and looks so elegant.

Tom's Birthday

It was my son's 3rd Birthday yesterday. Here is the A4 buzz lightyear card I made for him.

Also the card made for him by his big sister Amy (who's 4) using her cuttlekidz machine, bindeez beads and the computer for the sentiment.

Both turned out quite well I think.

Speedy Recovery Card

This is the card I made for my father in law (who just had keyhole surgery to remove cancer) to wish him a very speedy recovery. I wanted to make it colourful as possible as well as about recovering rather than being ill!

Lazy days card

I made two of these cards as I liked them so much (sorry about the photo it's a bit blurry). I love this Penny Black stamp and the K&Co Amy Butler Belle papers!

Since taking the photo I have now added sentiments. I decided the first one is a birthday card for my mother in law and the second I added Just a Note... as it's for a friend who isn't feeling too well at the moment. While it can't make her feel better, I hope it cheers her up!

Here are three more cards I made using Nicola's inpirational Sketch #9 http://mypaperworld.blogspot.com/2008/04/sketch-9.html.

The first two use K&Co papers as well as my favourite lola and lily stamps. The buttons were from Early Learning Centre (my daughters stash!). The Lily one is still in need of a greeting when I decide who it's for.

The chelsea one I'm not sure about - think it lacks something just not sure what!

Kent Family Craft Day!

As it's half term and we spent all day out and about yesterday. I decided that we would have a day of crafting. Well we've been crafting all morning and I'm quite pleased with the outcome. The children have had loads of fun so far! Thinking of cooking muffins or something this afternoon though as we have managed to get glue everywhere!!

2) Adore my husband & two gorgeous children - they are my world!

5) Only made 5 cards so far this year. I've been so busy selling off all my stock that I have only had time to finish 5 cards!

First Posting of 2008!

Well I can't believe it's nearly the end of January and this is my first posting. I've just been too busy with closing the shop to have time to craft! Still here is one of my first cards of this year. It was for my Nephew Jon who turned 18 last week.

The theme for November was christmas and I can't believe the standard of ATCs I always receive - each one is so fabulous and individual! Well done everyone. I didn't take part in this swap as I decided to send everyone who entered the swap an ATC (I think that 15 was enough to make for one swap!). I do have one big thank you for Chrissie who made me a lovely CRAK - it's fabulous!

I've just finished my next batch of christmas cards (here are a few of them). I seem to be having difficulty finding the time so I've opted for easy to make cards this year. The images are all from pccrafter or cuddlybuddly, backing papers from docrafts with my own cardstock and stickles glitter glue.

I don't know about the rest of you but I really struggle to find themes for boys card (especially as I have 8 nephews). I try to use a different image or theme for each one. I came across this image of spiderman and thought it would make a good card. I must admit I love it - just hope Charlie will!

Amy's Birthday

Well it's my little angel's birthday next week - 4 already (I can't quite believe it).

Anyway I spent last night thinking of ideas for her cards and these are what I eventually came up with. For the ballerina card I used a cuddlybuddly image (which I love) it is larger than A4 in size so my next challenge is an envelope! The second one is not quite as large. The crown was made using my silhouette and then added a cinderella image.

Been Busy

Well I've been busy (and very organised) as I started making my christmas cards. I know it's only August but all crafters know it's best to start early on these as christmas comes around too quickly! Last year I got a bit caught out and I was still making them christmas eve - which certainly isn't the best idea! It does feel very odd making christmas cards while sitting in the sun though! Well I've added pictures of some of them - what do you think?
